Very friendly small hotel. It was spotlessly clean with a good breakfast. Very atmospheric old street.

The restaurant/ bar accross the street was very noisy on Friday night . The noise continued very late into the morning.

An excellent location: only a few hundred yards from the Cathedral and old city centre. Friendly staff. Good breakfast.

The room was very small and the double bed very small indeed - scarcely wider than a normal single.

The hotel looks much better on the photos then in reality. Our room was really very small. Everything made impression like it was very old. The bed was very uncomfortable.

Small hotel conveniently located near to The Cathedral. It was very quiet and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Highly recommended for those who just finished The Camino.

This is an extreamly stylish place for its price category that is very well situated in a nice street. Would go there any time again.

Rooms are not so soundproof so if you are one of the faint hearted sleepers you should be careful but I guess this counts for any hotel in Spain in that price category.

Located on the edge of the old town, just 10 minutes walk from the bus station. This is like a typical botique hotel with all the frills. A breakfast is offered each morning which is adequate. Staff were very helpful with directions and instructions etc.

My mother and I (son, 44 years old) stayed one night in Hotel Fonte de San Roque, to visit Santiago on our tour by car of Northern Spain. The hotel is very well located, as it can be reached by car, but it is next to the area where the pedestrianized area starts. The street is quiet enough and we managed to park in front of the hotel on the street. You have to pay in the daytime troughout the week, but it's an affordable rate. The guy at the recepion received us in a warm and welcoming way. We had both a single room on the side of the street. They were cosy and well designed and had everything you need, with a good bathroom + were very clean. From the hotel you march right into the center of Santiago; the cathedral is an easy stroll. Good wifi connection across hotel. Rooms are small and furniture is old but that was ok with us. Staff is educated but not particularly pleasant.

Traffic is a bit hectic on that street so hotel has a discount agreement with a nearby parking however it did not work since the parking employee was away having a siesta so we had to pay the full fare through the automatic teller.

the hotel was comfy and although rooms werent really big they had everthing you needed.the staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfasts were really good.the hotel was in A very good spot.

the rooms at the front of the hotel could be very noisy at night.also walls thin and wooden floors were noisy.

I loved the fact that my single room had a small balcony onto the street, with double doors opening out which made it perfect for the very hot weather. You could leave the doors open and hear the bustle of this very Spanish street and area. The breakfasts in the hotel were more than adequate. There was a cafe-bar directly opposite which was very convenient for drinks and tapas during the day.

I found the dining-room a bit cheerless, probably due to the fact that there were no windows.

Das personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war sauber

habe während des urlaubs habe 2 mal im hotel gebucht. Das zweites mal das Zimmer war deutlich kleiner, trotz das es teuerer war. Und mit dem bad waren einige probleme: das wasser war kalt, und die duschkabine war deffekt, dass das wasser raus lief. Ausserdem hat das Hotel automatische anschaltung vom Heizung, und das ist in warmen Land nicht empfehlenswert, musste ständig die Heizung runter drehen, wenn ich ins Zimmer kam.

Dieses kleine gemütliche Hotel liegt sehr zentral und man ist in 5 min an der Kathedrale. Die Zimmer sind schön eingerichtet, sauber und ich habe mich dort sehr sehr wohl gefühlt. Die freundlichen Mitarbeiter und das für spanische Verhältnisse sehr gute Frühstück (mit frischen O-saft) haben meinen Aufenthalt dort perfekt gemacht.

Die Lage ist sehr schön. Das Hotel liegt zwischen 2 mit Bäumen gewachsenen Plätzen, auf mich hat es wie ein kleines Hotel in Paris gewirkt.

Leider gab es Straßenlärm bis Mitternacht, da eine große Straße nicht weit entfernt vorbeiführt und morgens das Übliche, Straßenkehrer, Abfallentfernung etc. Einzelzimmer liegen meist neben dem Aufzug, das kam noch dazu.
